[VIDEOS] A California highway police officer helped slow a runaway Toyota Prius from 94 mph to a safe stop on Monday after the car's accelerator became stuck on a freeway near San Diego, authorities said.
Highway patrol trooper Todd Neibert managed to pull alongside the Prius that sped out of control on a California freeway and tell the driver to use the emergency and regular brakes and to turn off the car's engine.
